Restorative Yoga is designed to calm and reset your entire body and mind. Physically you will be supported by props during the poses which are held for 5 minutes or so, during which time Ginny and I will provide gentle bodywork to help release muscular tension and energy blockages. You will be given brief verbal cues to relax the mind into stillness. The class becomes a practice in effortlessness; a profound experience of non-doing, resulting in a refreshed and open state of being.
